Very poor layout of the free weights area , very dirty, and absolutely no one puts anything back. I tried working out in the early mornings but found myself cleaning and putting away weights for the first 15 minutes and this was usually in front of a staff member. I really tried to make it work since it is on the way to my job, but it seems very little effort goes into this facility. Hope it gets better.
I've moved around to quite a few gyms over the past few years and none have been as good as the Snap Fitness in Elkhorn. There are two large rooms with tons of equipment - a myriad of weight machines, plenty of cardio equipment, and tons of free weight and bar weight equipment. There's also space for calisthenic exercises, mats for abs or floor exercises, bosu, medicine and exercise balls, kettle bells, and really anything else you would want or need. The facility is always clean - I've only ever walked in to find the gym spotless. The managers are wonderfully pleasant with a quick response time if you ever need to contact them. Best part is that it is never terribly busy - I never needed to wait for a bench or machine. There's a private shower facility in the back if needed as well.

I LOVE this club! I have lost over 60 pounds during my 5 plus year relationship (still going strong) with Elkhorn Snap. The managers truly care for me as a person, not just a member. I couldn't have stayed on track for myself without them, this gym & the friends I've made there. The review on not clean & messy, how can you blame management for a members laziness for not putting their weights away? The owner is always on floor cleaning. This is a 5 star gym, very clean and always open to help you.
stopped by a couple of times to sign up - both times NO MANAGER ON SITE even though the manager hours were posted on their door and website. LEFT 2 voicemails trying to get someone to call me back to become a member - finally on day 3 the owner called me basically to excuse the fact that the manager hours are not REALLY the hours and that they can change - REALLY ? who runs a business like this - needless to say Four Lake will be getting my business and its further away and MORE expensive - but its worth it to deal with people that care. BY THE WAY - I called Four lakes 2 times - someone answered the phone each time and they also responded to my email request about a membership.
